SFWMD Everglades Reconstruction Project

CES Consultants, Inc. provided miscellaneous engineering services to the South Florida Water Management District since 2002, for a variety of civil works engineering projects. Specific services included the following civil engineering and related services:
  • Design of a 220cfs pumps station discharging into the C-1 Canal, and a 200cfs Flow Structure for section 24 of the ACME Basin
  • Design of a 170cfs temporary pumping station and a permanent 370cfs pump station as part of the District’s Acceler8 Program
  • Primavera P3e baseline schedule development per Work Breakdown Structures in compliance with District and U.S. Army Corps standards, for the development of the Everglades Agricultural Areas Project Implementation Report
  • Structural engineering and site civil design services to bring existing pumping stations in compliance with the latest requirements of the South Florida Building Codes for a 200mph storm event
  • Canal conveyance inspections and design services
  • Cost engineering and cost estimating services for a variety of civil, environmental and structural engineering projects
  •  

    In addition to the above-listed engineering consulting services, CES staff also provided document control, GIS services and project management support to the District, working under District staff supervision.
