North Terminal Development Program at Miami International Airport
The North Terminal Development (NTD) project is a construction program, joining the 11 gates already in operation. Thirty-nine additional international & domestic gates will open in phases each year until the project is completed, for a total of 50 gates. There will be a new Federal Inspection Services area at 400,000 square feet in size with 72 service lanes and it will have the capacity to process 3,600 international passengers per hour. To facilitate passenger connections within this new, one-mile-long terminal, a rooftop automated people mover with four stations is being built. The people mover will be able to transport 9,000 passengers per hour. The North Terminal will be occupied by American Airlines, its one world Alliance and code share airline partners, and will integrate American Eagle’s operation.
CES is presently performing:
- Quality Control for all Phases of Work (i.e Construction, testing)
