We’re currently seeking a Project Manager who is well-rounded, self-motivated, hands-on and a problem-solving individual.  The position offers professional advancement in a team-oriented, dynamic culture in our South Florida locations.  The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in the water/wastewater/stormwater industry focused on infrastructure planning, design, permitting, and construction for pump stations (sewage, water, and stormwater), water distribution, transmission and storage, sanitary sewers, storm sewers and drainage systems. Experience in water/wastewater treatment, modeling, and/or trenchless technology is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize workload to effectively meet deadlines
  • Direct subconsultants performing services on projects
  • Plan, train, supervise, and evaluate the work of engineering and technical staff
  • Develop significant relationships with existing and potential clients along with client maintenance at staff level
  • Prepare construction drawings and specifications for a variety of projects
  • Prepare technical and engineering correspondence and reports
  • Prepare agendas, conduct meetings, and prepare meeting minutes
  • Involvement with team for preparation of proposals and interviews
  • Support firm’s client service managers
  • Actively participate in professional organizations, including presentation of technical papers

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license in Florida
  • Detail-oriented with strong technical and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated experience with managing and designing medium sized projects with responsibility for budget, schedule and quality standards
  • Delivery of quality services within budget and schedule constraints
  • Experience working with municipalities and permitting agencies
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong client management skills
  • Knowledge of, and ability to communicate with design engineers of all disciplines (civil, mechanical, structural, electrical)
  • “Self-starter” with initiative and ability to organize and manage work, and balance competing priorities
